The device includes a softPAP comfort feature, where the pressure is reduced at the beginning of expiration during therapy in CPAP and APAP-mode and raised again to therapy pressure at the beginning of inspiration, maximizing expiration comfort.

AutoCPAP mode
Patients vary in sensitivity to pressure adjustments. For effective therapy and comfortable breathing, the APAP mode offers two pressure adjustment options: Standard and Dynamic. The therapy pressure automatically adjusts to the patient's needs during the night. This makes the device suitable for treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea and fluctuating pressure requirements. An additional mechanism prevents unnecessary pressure increases at closed central events.
Deep sleep indicator
The integrated deep sleep indicator, prisma RECOVER makes it possible to assess the quality of sleep. It continuously analyses the respiratory pattern during therapy and detects phases of stable breathing that indicate deep sleep, a particularly restorative phase of sleep.
Modern connectivity
Compatible and future-proof. Various interfaces such as SD, PSG, LAN and external modem offer various options for data transfer. Software solutions (e.g. prismaTS, prisma APP and prisma CLOUD) are available for simple, flexible and secure therapy support.
Sensorless intelligent humidification
When using the prismaAQUA humidifier, smartAQUAcontrol can optionally be switched on: to quickly warm up the applied flow at the start of therapy and to ensure humidifier performance during periods of increased leakage. prismaAQUA can optionally be operated with a heated circuit.
Fall asleep comfortably with softSTART
The softSTART function can be activated to help you fall asleep and slowly acclimate to therapy pressure during the sleep phase. This ensures a slow increase in pressure over a set period until therapy pressure is reached. This is particularly useful for patients who find high pressure uncomfortable while awake and cannot fall asleep.
